Tyco Security Products has announced that New Ludgate, a well-known multi-use development property in Central London, has selected C•CURE 9000 Enterprise security and event management solution as the core platform for its new IP-based, integrated video, video intercom and access control security solution.

The C•CURE 9000 security and event management solution unites several of New Ludgate’s building systems together with physical security, providing the single, comprehensive security view necessary for managing and securing more than 355,000 square feet of office accommodation and 26,800 square feet of restaurant and retail facilities.

C•CURE 9000 solution

With help from systems integrators and architects Universal Security Systems, owner group Land Securities chose Software House’s C•CURE 9000 security and event management platform for New Ludgate because of its ability to manage multiple security and building management systems from a single, intuitive user interface. The C•CURE 9000 solution gives New Ludgate’s security operators the ability to monitor events in real time, manage personnel, create reports, display dynamic views, and monitor system activity using a desktop computer, web client or the C•CURE Go mobile app.

C•CURE 9000 has been chosen for its ability to manage multiple management systems from a single user interface

“New Ludgate required a near seamless integration between the buildings’ lifts systems, video intercom, access control and video surveillance system, and the new solution also needed to run on the buildings common network without impacting other network communications” said Lee Pegram, Land Securities Engineering Director. “The C•CURE 9000 security and event management platform ticks off all the items on our wish list, giving us the united, tightly integrated video, access control and building management capabilities we were searching for.”

C•CURE visitor management

The C•CURE 9000 security and event management solution used by New Ludgate includes a visitor management web portal option so that visitor management functions may be added in the future, along with conditional access and dynamic area management capabilities for areas needing supervised entry and occupancy. The security system was also constructed on a virtual local area network, making the system scalable for accommodating future expansion as well.
