Safety-critical systems
“It is a great honour for Frequentis for an employee to be receiving an award from the International System Safety Society for the fifth time. This underscores our high level of expertise in the area of safety and shows that it is also highly valued internationally,” says Norbert Haslacher, CEO Frequentis.
“Due to our daily work with safety-critical systems, system safety is an essential element of our company culture. Our employees perform excellently in this area, and we are delighted that this is also recognised by experts.”
Member of the ISSS
For Frequentis, Gabriele Schedl, Director Safety Management, also received this award in 2019. She was also recognised twice as Safety Manager of the Year (2014, 2022), Werner Winkelbauer as Safety Engineer of the Year in 2022. As an international provider of communication and information systems for control centres with safety-critical tasks, Frequentis has been a member of the ISSS since 2000. The international non-profit organisation founded in 1964 in California connects and supports safety experts around the globe.
Their members include large businesses, educational institutions, and various prestigious organisations. At its annual conference, which took place in Minneapolis this year, awards are presented in various categories. The International Safety Award recognises people and organisations for outstanding achievements or performance of special service in the advancement of the discipline of system safety in a country other than the USA.
