Altronix, a provider of power and transmission solutions for the professional security industry, is further expanding its popular line of eBridge™ Ethernet over Coax (EoC) solutions with the introduction of the new eBridge™800E Managed 8-Port EoC Receiver with Integral PoE Switch. Altronix eBridge EoC solutions provide a highly efficient means of upgrading coax infrastructure to accommodate IP networked systems.

EBridge EoC features

With its integral PoE switch, the eBridge800E is an ideal head-end solution to integrate coax infrastructure with IP devices such as cameras and accessories. This compact 1U rack unit features two 1Gb uplinks, eight ports providing up to 30W full power per port, and a media converter in a single unit that further reduces equipment and labour costs while conserving valuable rack space. eBridge800E is compatible with eBridge100TM and eBridge100ST hardened transceivers.

LINQ Network Communication Technology

The eBridge800E Managed 8-Port EoC Receiver allows IP devices to be deployed at distances up to 300m at 100Mbps, and includes a built-in battery charger to ensure seamless operation. Altronix’s advanced LINQ™ Network Communication Technology allows integrators and end users to monitor, control and report power and diagnostics from anywhere over the network.
