Specialist security provider Allegion UK has appointed Philip Hamilton as business development manager of its UK business to strengthen Allegion’s new and existing business opportunities in the North.

Hamilton joins Allegion UK following 25 years in sales roles, with notable previous experience across a number of electronic security products manufacturers including Gardiner Technology as Area Sales Manager. Here, he managed day-to-day running of the Birmingham branch whilst generating new business and developing existing customers.Phil brings with him a wealth of experience in the electronic security market"

Managing electronic access control and biometrics

Since then, Hamilton has expanded on his knowledge and understanding of client-lead projects and formulating growth-plans for customer requirements. At Allegion UK, Hamilton will play a key role in driving growth across the electronic access control, biometrics and hospitality product portfolio, working closely with key channel partners and distributors.

Marc Lengahan, commercial director of Allegion UK and Ireland, said, “It’s a delight to be able to welcome Hamilton to the team as business development manager.
