For over 100 years, Adams Rite, an ASSA ABLOY Group brand, has been an industry leader in the commercial, industrial and institutional building construction industry. Recognised for innovative, forward-thinking design, this year Adams Rite is unveiling its new EX Series Exit Devices, showcasing advancements in mechanical to electrical upgrades, and providing a tech preview of the G100 Digital Glass Door Lock with wireless Aperio technology.

EX Series exit devices features

The new EX Series Exit Devices offer a sleek, flexible and installation-friendly solution featuring a universal hardware kit for aluminium, hollow metal, and wood applications and is available in three different lengths that can easily be cut in the field. The EX Series will launch with four models including the EX88 Interlocking Rim Exit Device, a robust and unique bolt design that interlocks the door to frame for enhanced strength and durability, the EX89 Pullman Rim Exit Device which is compatible with Adams Rite preload capable 74R2 Electric Strikes and surface mounted HES 9400 Series Electric Strikes, the EX76 CVR Exit Device with concealed adjustable rods and latching assemblies designed for easy installation, and the EX80 Series Dummy Push Bar whose flexible design comes standard with two monitoring switches and is field selectable for active or inactive configuration.

Adams Rite will also showcase its Mechanical to Electrical upgrade path and products. End-users who are retrofitting an aluminium narrow stile installation are often looking to go from a completely mechanical lock to an electrified solution, which means products must be backward compatible. Adams Rite has long concentrated on designing latches and locks that are compatible with the Adams Rite MS Prep, saving time and money during upgrades. It also holds the aesthetics and integrity of an opening when upgrading to a new solution.

Frameless glass door openings

Adams Rite will be offering a tech preview of the G100 Series Wireless Digital Glass Door Lock with Aperio Technology, a surface-mounted digital door lock that extends access control capabilities to frameless glass door openings.  Featuring 13.56 MHz contactless card technology and keypad options for keyless entry, audit trail, and integrated request to exit and door status monitoring.  This makes the G100 the ideal digital glass door solution for retrofitting electronic access control enabling online access control functionality.

With the new EX Series and an emphasis on mechanical to electrical upgrades and inventive new products such as the G100, Adams Rite continues to show industry leading innovation.
