Winners Of Best Security Project – IFSEC 2006
Product Profile
Honeywell Systems Group and 2020Vision Systems were delighted to win the prestigious IFSEC 2006 Award for Best Security Project at Sunderland Housing Group.
The Sunderland Housing Group project involved the implementation of an integrated security concierge system that provides 24/7 security surveillance from a central control room to 23 fully refurbished tower blocks across the city. The result is a safer community that enjoys peace of mind. Through the combined skills of systems integrators 2020 Vision Systems, the Sunderland Housing Group project team and consulting engineers Davies Tindale Associates, the security system has helped to reduce vandalism and anti-social behaviour towards tenants. The Honeywell Maxpro 1000 enabled an holistic integration of access control, video door entry, CCTV, intruder alarm and fire detection systems – using a ‘cause and effect’ approach. The security systems are linked by wireless communications over a secure LAN, throttled to 1MB broadband per link, for high quality transmission of voice, video and data.
