Verkada GC31 Cellular Gateway for Seamless Device Connectivity
Product Profile
The Verkada GC31 and GC31-E Cellular Gateways make it effortless to deploy Verkada products in locations with power and cellular signal, even in hard-to-wire areas like parking lots, construction sites, or streetlight poles.
The GC31 can be powered using any power input, and it will deliver both power and data to your Verkada devices via Power over Ethernet (PoE). As with all Verkada products, the GC31 is cloud-managed and seamlessly integrates into the Verkada ecosystem. Thanks to Verkada’s unlimited data plan, available in many countries, customers no longer need to engage with individual cellular carriers—everything just works out of the box.
Key Features
Flexible Power Options
The GC31 offers versatile power input options, including terminal block, barrel jack, and PoE. It features two PoE outputs, providing up to 60W of total power.
Verkada Data Plan or Bring Your Own Plan
Simplify connectivity with the option to use Verkada’s unlimited data plan, which offers multi-carrier redundancy, unlimited data, and 24/7 support. Alternatively, customers can bring their own cellular plan, providing flexibility based on specific needs.
Deploy Anywhere
Available in both indoor and outdoor versions, the GC31 is designed to withstand a variety of environments and installation scenarios. Whether mounted on a pole, roof, wall, or placed on a tabletop, the GC31 offers versatile deployment options for any setting.
Cloud-Managed
Set up, monitor, and manage the GC31 via Verkada Command from any device, anywhere. View all your gateways on a map, run diagnostics, and receive instant alerts if connectivity is lost, ensuring uninterrupted performance.
Remote Troubleshooting
With remote management, you can power cycle the GC31 and any connected devices directly through Command. If the gateway itself goes offline, it will automatically power cycle after 30 minutes, minimizing downtime.
Optimized Data Usage
The GC31 optimizes streaming, cloud backups, and other activities on connected Verkada devices to reduce data consumption, enhancing the viewing experience while lowering overall data usage.
