The 16th China Public Security Expo (CPSE 2017) officially opened on October 29th, 2017 in China Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center. The theme of Dahua’s exhibit was “Cloud Ecosystem, Smart Future”, presenting the fusion of cloud computing, big data, artificial intelligence, deep learning and IoT within the security industry.

Dahua exhibited in a brand new style to receive customers from all over the world. There were 12 different booths, showcasing video cloud, artificial intelligence, smart cities, smart transportation, and multi-dimension sensing, etc. Product demonstrations, video illustration, interaction and on-site presentation attracted a large number of visitors.

The Dahua booth integrated its achievements in domestic, international, and subsidiary company products, technology, and solutions, fully embodying Dahua’s level of “intelligence” as it brought its concept of “smart future” to the table in a comprehensive display of Dahua’s solution strategy and technology innovation in smart cities, commercial and consumer markets.

Solution development and tech upgrades

Dahua accomplished rapid solution development and technology upgrades in 2017. More new products and solutions were displayed than in previous years. Dahua’s video cloud and the application of AI caught many people’s attention. Cloud technologies and services like intelligent cloud storage, multi-dimensional big data, cloud magic cube platform, traffic management cloud and cloud operation & maintenance centre, continued to shape the layout and the momentum of Dahua’s video "cloud ecosystem".

The combination of cloud computing and edge computing re-define the meaning of "end-to-end computing" in the Era of Intelligence. In the field of Artificial Intelligence, “Deep Sense” series structured data servers greatly enhance the efficiency and application value of security video big data. “Deep Sense” series intelligent transportation cameras use deep learning algorithms to enhance the intelligence of data mining operations.

Convergence is the key word when it comes to new product release. HDCVI-IoT, based upon HDCVI 4.0 technology, integrates temperature, humidity sensors and traditional wireless alarm signals with video. Dahua’s Smart Thermal series products integrate the intelligent perception, intelligent identification, intelligent analysis, intelligent tracking, intelligent linkage and other intelligent functions, to create new data value. Intelligent Cloud storage creates new experiences of intelligent integration in video surveillance industry, to promote the development of video Internet of Things.

At the same time, newly released solutions are directed at creating video network applications for law enforcement authorities through providing more complete and optimised solutions and services for transportation, smart city, and smart fire prevention projects.

“Xueliang” Safe City solutions achieve sharing of video sources from public safety, commercial and consumer front-end video cameras, resulting in unified cloud resource management and deployment.

Dahua Intelligent Fire Solution, based upon networking technology, achieves fire equipment networking, real-time monitoring and unified management, to improve the risk detection capability and fire management effectiveness. With video analytics detection technology at its core, the Smart City Parking Management Solution leverage on the advanced technologies from LECHANGE Cloud Platform and Video+ to solve city parking issues.

Dahua Technology’s consumer business, LECHANGE, hosted a new product launch event with the theme of “Locks for the World”. The first ever LECHANGE video cloud lock was officially released. During the event, chairman Fu Liquan expressed high confidence in the future development of LECHANGE, stating it is devoted to becoming the leader in the consumer smart IoT market.
