The Apollo long range infrared transmitter and receiver provide Wiegand interface to the Apollo access control system or can operate as a self-contained standalone system. Standard read ranges are up to 25 feet (8 meters) outdoors and up to 80 feet (25 meters) indoors. These ranges can be doubled with use of the extended read range receiver. Apollo's infrared system is an ideal product for use in conjunction with parking gates and vehicle entrances.
