EverFocus extended its HD-CCTV range to include three new hybrid HD-CCTV DVRs and four HD-CCTV cameras

EverFocus launched a complete HD-CCTV solution delivering 720p/1080i resolution high definition images through standard coaxial cable, which has proved popular in the analogue-dominated surveillance market of the UK. EverFocus has also recently extended its HD-CCTV range to include three new hybrid HD-CCTV DVRs and four HD-CCTV cameras.

EverFocus is also well positioned for growth in demand for IP with an expanding range of IP cameras. Six new two megapixel network cameras, offering either 720p or 1080p HD resolution were also launched at IFSEC last month. All these Nevio-branded HD IP cameras are ONVIF and PSIA compliant, offer two-way audio and all non-compact cameras can be powered via Power over Ethernet (PoE). It also unveiled nine new mobile analogue cameras and three mobile digital video recorders (DVRs) for mobile vehicular surveillance.

EverFocus is now looking to accelerate its growth in the market through a stronger focus on providing complete ‘plug and play' systems to meet specific market needs.

James Weng, president of EverFocus Electronics Corporation commented at IFSEC: "EverFocus provides HD systems either with HD-CCTV via existing coaxial or megapixel IP via network; the dual approach helps, particularly in traditional CCTV-dominated markets like the UK. But we are now focusing harder on building whole surveillance systems designed for specific market applications. We aim to be a valued added manufacturer which installers and integrators can go to for ready-to-use security systems which can be configured easily to meet specific customer needs."

"With ease-of-use as a key theme we are now extending support for new end user display devices including smart phones and tablets. You may have noticed our new MobileFocus app for smart phone display of images from our DVRs for example."
