The CodeLoxx LC double knob cylinder from ABUS Seccor provides an elegant electronic solution which better protects doors against intrusion whilst at the same time offering the convenience of key-free living. Hardened protective components ensure supreme mechanical resistance. Picking tools and skeleton keys cannot be used to access the locking mechanism thanks to the sealed door knob.

The door can be opened both with an electronic key and by entering a code. For this purpose, an innovative digit ring is used: similar to a safe, the digits are entered using the knob on the outside. This is turned to the respective digit, which can be confirmed by gently pressing it inwards. After input of the four- to six-digit code, the cylinder couples into place and the door can be opened. This means that if the key has been lost or the door has fallen shut, the double knob cylinder always provides an alternative means of access. "Code entry using the digit ring makes the CodeLoxx LC unique when it comes to functionality, convenience of use and design," explains Christian Meyers, CEO of ABUS Seccor. "This gives us a unique selling point."

Functions providing additional benefits

The CodeLoxx LC provides its users with a broad range of smart applications. For example, an access control system with up to 511 keys or authorisations can be established. It is also possible to couple the lock cylinder with alarm systems. Great value has been placed on providing the greatest possible simplicity of operation. The process of teaching and altering keys and assigning and revoking locking rights is quick and easy.

Tried and tested extension principle

The modular system typical of ABUS Seccor, which allows the length to be adjusted, is also available with the CodeLoxx LC. Measuring errors can therefore be rectified directly on site, without wasting too much time or money. The cylinder can still be used even after moving or replacing the doors.
