 QNAP NAS products placed at the top of NAS chart in German CHIP magazine 

QNAP Systems, Inc. is delighted to announce that 4 of its Turbo NAS lineup were included in the top 5 list of the July 2011 issue of CHIP Magazine, Germany, among which the TS-239 Pro II topped the chart.

"It is tremendous honour to be affirmed by one of the most influential technology magazines from Germany," said Meiji Chang, CEO of QNAP Systems, Inc. On the NAS chart, the QNAP TS-112, TS-239 Pro II+, and TS-259 Pro occupy #5, #4, and #2 spots respectively, and the TS-239 stands on the top of the chart. The full NAS chart also includes the QNAP TS-212 at #14 as a new entry.

Each month CHIP magazine compares various NAS products in the market based on their design, power consumption, noise level, and performance. "It confirms QNAP's expertise in bringing versatile software features and high performance into a green and quiet hardware design that contemporary home and business users need," Chang added.

The success reveals that QNAP has provided full-range NAS solutions for home, SOHO, SMB, and corporate network setups. The TS-112 and TS-212 are designed for home/SOHO users; the TS-239 Pro II+, TS-239 Pro II, and TS-259 Pro aim to meet storage needs of SMB/corporate environments. The TS-239 Pro II is now replaced with TS-239 Pro II+, and TS-259 Pro with TS-259 Pro+.
