Vemotion's solution allows live video images from any remote site to be fed back to the EM Service Control Centre

Vemotion Interactive, specialists in live video transmission over low bandwidth connections, announced a new project win from EnterpriseMouchel, a rapidly expanding organisation providing integrated network management and operations services for many major highways across the UK.

Vemotion mobile CCTV capability is installed in the first EM vehicle deployed on their Transport for London contract following a successful trial of the technology. The solution allows live video images from any remote site to be fed back to the EM Service Control Centre as well as to staff’s PCs and smartphones. The small form factor unit is operated using the standard vehicle power source.

Colin Ridley, Communications and Customer Care Manager for EM said, “The Vemotion solution helps us to provide real-time information to the people that need it, helping staff to take the right actions and make the right decisions, thus helping to minimise any disruption to the road network.”

“We are delighted to have won this contract from EM in support of their strategically important infrastructure projects,” commented Stewart McCone, Managing Director of Vemotion.
