SimonsVoss pursues environment friendly production process for its 3060 System range

SimonsVoss underlines its support for the protection of the environment again this year at Security in Essen. By recycling materials and decreasing CO2 emissions, the company aims to make a considerable contribution to a more eco-friendly tradeshow appearance.

SimonsVoss has joint forces with its tradeshow construction company in Munich, atelier damböck, to work out environmentally sound methods when building tradeshow stands. The team paid special attention to the re-use of materials for stand walls, product displays or roof constructions as well as the minimisation of transport and travel activities through efficient planning: no lorry makes its way twice, the building team was recruited from the area of Essen which has a positive effect on the CO2 balance. “With our solutions of an eco-friendly tradeshow booth we want to convince our customers that design and protection of the environment goes hand in hand”, explains Andreas Damböck, CEO of atelier damböck. “In order to achieve more sustainability when building tradeshow stands, it is not sufficient to think about individual measures only. Our approach is to analyse all individual steps of the entire value chain and derive individual solutions for our customers which lead to an improved ecological balance of their tradeshow appearance.

Despite the considerable reduction of the CO2 emission, it is nearly impossible to avoid it overall. The value of these greenhouse gas emissions can be determined according to official regulations. SimonsVoss donates the equivalent of this value to environment protection projects carried out by ClimatePartner, a climate protection consultancy in Munich.

“SimonsVoss already pursues an environmentally friendly production process of its System 3060 range and we are happy to continue to do so when building our tradeshow stands”, explains Nicole Huffer, Corporate Vice President Marketing Communications of SimonsVoss.
