The Crossline counting feature counts objects that cross a virtual tripwire in a defined direction.
An event can be triggered whenever a set number of selected objects have crossed the line, while data can be collected either separately or simultaneously to events.
- Occupancy in the area feature
The Occupancy in Area feature allows the user to define an area to count selected objects
The Occupancy in Area feature allows the user to define an area to count selected objects, providing an estimate of occupancy levels in real-time.
Any objects outside the area will be ignored.
Key enhancements
These analytics provide valuable information to the user, including the ability to:
- Gain actionable insights and identify peak traffic hours across different locations.
- Quantify and evaluate the impact of measures taken on traffic flow.
- Notify personnel when a facility requires maintenance based on usage.
- Monitor queue lengths and analyse visitor trends to optimise resource allocation and reduce costs.
- Understand the flow of movement and estimate occupancy levels within areas of interest.
AXIS Object Analytics Crossline counting and AXIS Occupancy Analytics Object in the area will be available in November 2023. Each of these new solutions will be demoed, along with more of Axis’ latest products, at ISC East, booth #711.
