NCT CBRNe Asia 2015 - The fourth edition of Asia's premier CBRNe event
The fourth edition of Asia’s premier CBRNe event The Non-Conventional Threat: CBRNe Asia 2015 will take place 10-12 November in Bangkok, Thailand.
Since 2012, NCT CBRNe Asia is assembling each year around 300 delegates from over 30 countries in order to discuss regional challenges in preparing and dealing with CBRN incidents. NCT CBRNe Asia is thereby an outstanding opportunity to meet CBRN Defense Commanders, Fire Marshalls, Police Special Forces, Government Representatives and internationally known experts from all over the Asia-Pacific. Especially in Asia where CBRN related challenges are vast and disasters comparatively frequent, the establishments of a regional CBRN response community is of outmost importance.
NCT CBRNe Asia includes a one-day live exercise followed by a two-day conference and exhibition. The conference will provide with high-level speeches on regional CBRN challenges and threats, approaches and state-of-the-art equipment from CBRN detection to decontamination and recovery, as well as regional capability building and procurement projects. NCT CBRNe Asia is known for assembling the most high-level speakers each year.
Concurrently, the two-day exhibition will give an overview of state-of-the-art equipment available on the market from leading CBRN industry procurement stakeholders.
The event also includes a one-day live exercise that has been organised in the past by the Royal Malaysian Armed Forces CBRN Battalion, the Cambodian National Defense Authority for Chemical Weapons as well as the Vietnamese Ministry of Defense. The exercise is followed by the annual NCT CBRNe Awards Gala, celebrating outstanding achievements in the field of CBRN defense, research and capability building.
