MotionCam (PhOD)'s PIR sensor detects intrusion by identifying moving objects with a temperature close to that of the human body. When properly installed and configured, MotionCam (PhOD) does not react to animals up to 50 centimetres tall and weighing up to 20 kilograms. When movement is detected, the armed detector instantly transmits an alarm signal to the hub. The hub activates the connected sirens and notifies the user and the security company. Users know exactly where motion is detected. The notifications contain the name of the hub (name of the secure facility), the name of the device, and the virtual room to which the detector is assigned. Photo verification allows you to assess what is happening at the secured facility using the built-in camera, which can take from 1 to 5 pictures with a resolution of 160 × 120 and 320 × 240, as well as up to 3 pictures with a resolution of 640 × 480 pixels. Photo verification allows you to receive visual confirmation of MotionCam (PhOD) and Ajax fire detectors alarms. The Photo on Demand feature allows requesting a photo from the detector at any time to find out the situation at the facility, check the cause of the alarm, or see what the children are doing. For shooting in the dark, the detector is equipped with infrared illumination, which is activated in low light conditions.
