The DX1000 series offers a compact recorder that combines the functions of a recorder and multiplexer into one unit. Two models, the 30 GB hard drive and the 60 GB hard drive, allow continuous recording for up to 2 or 4 weeks respectively. With a unit weight of 4 kg, the DX1000 can be placed on a desktop or shelf for easy access to the front panel controls for operation and programming. In addition, the DVR uses proprietory compression algorithms to prevent video image alteration. Key features include:
