JVC’s VR-N900U NVR offers scalable operation & integration with third-party devices

The VR-N900U is able to automatically recognise and configure itself to operate with JVC brand IP camera, up to four analogue cameras or network encoder, allowing for quick and easy installation without complex set-up.  Designed for ease of use and practicality, once the NVR is installed it is ready for immediate use with no PC specification or configuration needed.

The unit fits seamlessly into a standard 19" rack.  Ergonomic front panel controls, which are similar in design to VCR or DVRs, ensures familiarity for most security operators.

The NVR offers a scalable open platform allowing for the integration of third party devices for access control, POS systems, ATM systems and remote monitoring solutions.  This includes the following:

• Paxton Net2 Access Control - Net 2 access control software can be integrated with the Milestone Systems XProtect software embedded in the VR-N900U to easily locate archived alarm-triggered camera footage.
• Milestone XProtect PDA Client - enables users to access IP video surveillance data on the move.
• Milestone XProtect Transact - POS or ATM recorded video data can be linked to transactions in retail environments.
• Milestone XProtect Central Client for multiple video surveillance installations
