A complete Siqura solution at a glance

To show how straightforward a complete TKH security system can be, Optelecom-NKF will demonstrate a total solution at its booth (Booth 3086). Siqura cameras and codecs will be configured to the high-tech intelligent IP video management system (VMS) from TKH Group member, VDG. Siqura IP and analog fixed and PTZ cameras as well as Siqura codecs use dedicated DSPs to implement analytics locally on unprocessed images. This ensures the best results from analysis software while streamlining bandwidth consumption. VDG's VMS specialises in facilitating the control of and access to devices that compress and process information at the edge of the network.

The first direct to fiber IP PTZ camera

Due to the ubiquitous nature and the advantages of fiber optic networks, as well as the current migration from analog to IP streaming, Optelecom-NKF is now offering its Siqura IP PTZ dome cameras with a fiber optic connector option. This feature simplifies both the setup and maintenance of camera installations where a fiber network is utilised to overcome long distance limitations.

Pressurised PTZ dome for extreme conditions

Optelecom-NKF is currently developing pressurised IP and analog PTZ dome cameras to offer a robust solution for the most taxing situations. It is capable of withstanding intense levels of solar heat (945VA UV protection) and providing high-quality video in environments with extreme levels of moisture, dirt, or pollution (IP67 Ingress Protection). This pressurised dome camera will be commercially available in the spring of 2011.

Explosion-proof fixed and PTZ dome cameras

The Siqura fixed and PTZ analog and IP cameras will soon be available with ATEX certified explosion-proof housing covers. These housings are essential for the chemical and petro-chemical industries.

High-definition, ONVIF-compliant cameras

Optelecom-NKF will also show its high-definition, ONVIF-compliant camera line, a collection of six cameras in providing HD (720p) and Full HD (1080p) resolution images in H.264, MPEG-4, and MJPEG.

Video content analysis for system and surveillance

Optelecom-NKF will put its Camera Health Check video content analysis (VCA) application on display. This programme is integrated into the Siqura S-64 E video server and checks the status or well-being of the attached cameras by monitoring the cameras' position and image quality. When something is amiss, the application triggers an alarm to promptly alert operators, thereby guaranteeing quality video material while at the same time reducing unnecessary maintenance costs.

The Optelecom fiber line is one of the largest assortments of fiber optic equipment in the world.
