Product Profile
At IFSEC CEM Systems displayed biometric readers including the S610f Fingerprint reader and the new S3020f Portable Fingerprint Reader for mobile security. CEM Systems have developed these products to provide customers with a fully integrated biometric access control solution. The CEM fingerprint card readers meet requirements for three stage identity authentication (card, PIN and biometric verification) using one device.
What makes CEM biometric readers unique?
- Single integrated process for enrolling cardholder details
- Large internal database
- Supports multiple card technologies
- Graphical LCD screen to display predefined messages e.g. ‘Card expiring', ‘Access denied', ‘Place finger'.
CEM S3020f Portable Fingerprint Reader
The new CEM S3020f portable fingerprint reader is a hand-held card reading and fingerprint verification device which can provide security at temporary check points.
Featuring a Suprema fingerprint module, fingerprints are read and encrypted on the central AC2000 server and uniquely distributed to the S3020f reader for storage in its large internal database - holding 100,000 card and biometric records. The S3020f Portable Fingerprint Reader is ideal for example for construction workers coming on site on buses, or guards performing security tours.
High Power over Ethernet Access Control
CEM will also be demonstrating the industry leading DIU 230 PoE+ door interface unit. The DIU 230 delivers cost effective power and Ethernet communications via a single CAT5/6 Ethernet cable, eradicating the need to provide local mains power at the door.
AC2000 Version 6 software release
The new Version 6 platform of the flagship AC2000 product will be on display. Available in Lite, Standard Edition and Airport Edition options, AC2000 is a powerful and fully integrated access control, alarm processing and photo badging system. At IFSEC, AC2000 system will be integrated with the American Dynamics Intellex digital video management systems and the DSC range of intrusion panels, displaying its powerful integration capabilities. AC2000 product also offers an integration platform for IndigoVision video interface, Deister keysafe system and has a 3rd party API (Application Programming Interface) for 3rd party integrations.
