Alpro introduce a new generation magnet - Vortex 2400 - stronger and greener than standard magnet

Alpro Hardware is securing the pathway to environmental change and reducing its carbon footprint by the introduction of Vortex, its patented range of face-to-face electromagnets, bringing to market new and exciting technology.

Vortex has strength in excess of the standard magnet, despite being smaller in size. The magnetic and mechanical technology built into the Vortex combine to give 1500 kilograms of holding force, but crucially allow the magnet to release under 100 kilograms of side pressure. All achieved with a 60% reduction in carbon emissions and energy consumption.

The Vortex magnet is dual voltage and has a low current draw, along with dual monitoring complete with early warning and on-board sounder for illegal entry. The magnet is complete with a large built in LED, making it ideal for all types of building applications.
