Foxstream and Blue Eye Video’s queue management solutions allow passengers, as well as airport operators, to know the different queues’ wait time
Foxstream has decided to widen its range of products & increase its activity

Blue Eye Video becomes Foxstream’s subsidiary to strengthen its presence in the USA and increase its business, as well as its staff in 2015. In order to develop its range of people counting solutions, Foxstream has purchased the firm Blue Eye Video in November 2014.

To increase its activity on the US market

With its innovative technology, Foxstream has decided to widen its range of products & increase its activity, especially in the USA. This logically led Jean-Baptiste Ducatez, Foxstream’s chairman, to purchase Blue Eye Video: “Foxstream wishes to expand internationally and develop in other fields than security. The US airport market is one of our expansion targets. Blue Eye Video initiated the installation of people counting solutions in the Washington Dulles and San Francisco airports. We simply wish to reinforce this development with our technical and commercial complementary skills.” Blue Eye Video has developed specific expertise in the field of queue management by the use of image processing technology, and is expanding more and more in the USA. Blue Eye Video will therefore keep its entity with the Florida based subsidiary, and report to the French headquarters Foxstream.

A complete range of solutions dedicated to the passenger experience

In order to enhance passenger experience, Foxstream and Blue Eye Video’s queue management solutions allow passengers, as well as airport operators, to know the different queues’ wait time and to reduce it. Real-time wait time predictions allow passengers to be reassured and therefore not subject to stress and anxiety. As for airport operators, the system allows them to decide whether to open or close checkpoints, depending on the level of attendance in queues. “The benefit is two fold : the passenger feels reassured & doesn’t lose his time waiting in a queue, and the airport increases its non-aeronautical income streams by optimising the use of available resources while improving the average customer basket value in stores”. explains Pierre-Jean Rivière, Business Developer at Foxstream and CEO of the Blue Eye Video Usa Inc subsidiary.

Growth expectations for 2015

After Washington Dulles (VA) and San Francisco (CA), Blue Eye Video USA Inc is now starting to equip Phoenix (AZ). The subsidiary will reinforce its staff in 2015 for an even more timely and responsive customer support.
