PROMISE Technology, Inc., a leading developer of high-performance storage solutions optimised for the requirements of video surveillance, recently announced that the Vess A2000 Series NVR storage appliance is validated with Security Center, the powerful unified security platform from Genetec. Security Center seamlessly blends Omnicast video management systems (VMS), Synergis access control, and AutoVu license plate recognition (LPR) systems, presenting physical security information to end users through a single intuitive interface designed to standardise workflows for greater efficiency, faster response time and an over-all higher level of security. PROMISE Technology’s validation of the Vess A2000 Series for Security Center ensures the solution has been tested to deliver scalability, flexibility, value, and quality to meet the security needs of small to medium sized and enterprise-class businesses.

Vess A2000 NVR storage appliances for IP video surveillance reduce the complexity and costs of surveillance deployments while delivering powerful, reliable, efficient and optimised storage designed to support growing security requirements. The Vess A2000 offers a validated integration with Security Center, streamlining installation and configuration which helps simplify surveillance deployments and lower the total cost of ownership. Additionally, the solution delivers optimised performance for many workloads which enables the Vess recording server to maintain stability and provide consistent throughput without dropping frames.

“A robust surveillance infrastructure requires industry leading solutions to work together in unison,” said Jack Yang, Senior Product Planning and Marketing Manager, PROMISE Technology. “We are pleased that the Vess A2000 Series is validated with Genetec Security Center, which offers our customers a proven solution that eliminates the risk of integration and optimises the key features of both solutions."

“Genetec works closely with its partner ecosystem to ensure that our customers can benefit from significant value added features and functionality when they select Security Center,” said George Maroussis, Technology Alliance Manager, Genetec. “Working closely with PROMISE to support their validation of Vess with Security Center provides assurances to our shared users that they can confidently deploy a solution that has been optimised for performance and functionality.”
