Already recognised as a market leader in the Active Infrared Beam market, Takex has launched the MW50 microwave models at a remarkably affordable price, making Microwave a realistic complement or alternative. Designed and manufactured in Japan to the usual standards of excellence, the MW50 is adept at dealing with adverse weather conditions such as heavy fog, mist, rain, snow and frost, so proves to be the perfect partner or alternative to the beams. The MW50 is an active (point-to-point) K-band microwave with a range of up to 50M between transmitter and receiver. There are 2 frequencies available H or L allowing 2 units to be used together without fear of interference. Boasting 180° rotatable sensor heads, the MW50 is equipped with N/O and N/C alarm outputs, tamper circuits (TR & RCVR) and variable response time. Pole mount brackets are supplied as standard, and there is the option of rear pole covers should the installation require them. As well as standard MW50 models, Takex have a combination unit ‘COMIN50HF’ which comprises the MW50 and PBIN50HF intelligent quad beam together as a single unit, and/or gated to provide the ultimate perimetre protection product. |
