New DS2 Plus from Dedicated Micros – industry leading features with great price performance

Dedicated Micros have released a product that includes all the familiar features of the Digital Sprite 2, but with double the record rate and more storage, dramatically improving its flexibility in high-end applications.  The DS2 Plus is capable of a market leading 100 PPS PAL / 120 NTSC record rate, and boasts a maximum storage of 600GB.  In addition – not only will DS2 Plus systems record longer, Dedicated Micros guarantee they will last longer too - all DS2 Plus models come with a three-year warranty as standard, covering both the units themselves and the hard disk drives.

Record up to four cameras in real-time - DS2 Plus can record up to four cameras at 25/30pps each for capturing motion as fast as the eye can see.

Increase event recording flexibility without wasting disk space - a doubled record rate will NOT automatically use up the available storage in double quick time, the extra record rate can be configured specifically to those cameras that enter alarm mode, without wasting disk space on cameras that are not alarmed.

Two months standard recording - the new 600GB DS2 Plus model will record for over 2 months out of the box compared with the  54 days 500GB Digital Sprite 2 model.  This sets a significant new milestone in record duration for DS2 applications.

An extra year’s peace of mind - DS2 Plus is backed by a full three years warranty covering all parts of the product including Hard Disk Drives.
