New Flexidome CCTV cameras extend range of solutions for indoor and outdoor surveillance applications

Bosch has extended its range of cameras with The FlexiDome VF & XT+ series of dome cameras and the FlexiDome XF & DN high performance, colour and vandal-resistant dome cameras.  These two new series of camera offer the ultimate solution to any indoor or outdoor application.

The FlexiDome XF & DN, and also the XT+ version all have cast aluminium housing, polycarbonate dome and hardened inner liner, which can withstand the equivalent of 120 lbs of force.  These units contain full-featured colour and monochrome cameras, with 1/3-inch CCD and integral varifocal lenses.

The FlexiDome VF & XT+ series uses the latest technology in imaging, with 540 TVL resolution colour cameras.  Their superior sensitivity, high-resolution and picture quality provide optimal performance in virtually all situations.  The choice of lenses makes these cameras very versatile, because they can cover everything from standard and telephoto to low-light applications.

The FlexiDome XF & DN series incorporates the latest technology adopted from the high-performance Dinion XF colour and true Day/Night cameras, ensuring the highest possible image quality at all times ad under all conditions.  Based on a unique combination of 15-bit digital video processing and XF-dynamic, these cameras provide excellent sensitivity, with up to 32x extended dynamic range.  This delivers a sharper, more detailed image with outstanding accuracy in colour reproduction.

For installers they are very quick and easy to install as the cameras come assembled and ready to use.  With the cameras pan/tit/rotation mechanism installers can select the exact field of view.  Mounting options are numerous, including surface, 4s, wall, corner and suspended ceiling.  All cameras incorporate Blinix, a technology that allows technicians to set up, control the camera settings, and even update firmware remotely over video cable.

Their design is compact and sleek, and with a virtually flush-mount appearance they are an attractive solution for any décor.  The camera enclosures provide the extra protection necessary for applications such as schools, banks, prisons, parking garages, retail and industrial building.
