New Bosch AutoDome cameras with enhanced performance

New AutoDome cameras from Bosch Security Systems offer optical zooms up to 26x with no compromise on sensitivity and picture quality. The new 26x AutoDome range also includes a day/night camera producing superb video in conditions from bright daylight to the darkest scenes. The new cameras also provide an additional 12x digital zoom, giving a total zoom range of over 310x – an unmatchable range that allows viewing of the finest details. With the upgraded day/night performance, extended optical zoom and digital zoom boost, AutoDome provides perfect area coverage and exceptional picture quality for virtually every facility and application. In addition, Bosch has also further extended the capabilities of its AutoDome range to allow integration directly with other manufacturers’ control systems, as well as the standard Bosch options of Biphase, Bilinx (bi-directional communication), RS232 or RS485 communication.

An AutoDome with AutoTrack will monitor an area with a pre-set tour, but once motion is detected the camera automatically locks onto the subject, zooms in for a better view and follows the subject anywhere within the camera’s 360° coverage area.
