Nedap conquers challenges in the security industry at Security Challenges
Product Profile
Is your security system safe enough? How do you substitute security when change is required? And how do you prioritise security within your organisation?
Nedap provided visitors to this year's Security Essen with the answers to challenges that they might conquer in their day-to-day business. Offering 7 specific scenarios, all providing inspiration and new insights to overcome specific security challenges. Whoever entered the Nedap stand discovered how to design a safe system without weak links, thanks to end-to-end security. Or how to reduce user-errors thanks to an user-friendly and straightforward application.
Managing change is made simple thanks to open IT standards allowing for the integration of existing hardware and systems, including third party controllers. Potential in any security solution such as possibilities to improve business processes, will help ensuring that security gets the priority it deserves. Automating access requests thanks to an integrated workflow application, for example, will not only reduce human mistakes, but eventually save money. Moreover, optimal control over all premises will reduce risks significantly and therefore create a safe working environment for all employees.
Nedap demonstrated how having a single security management platform for all security needs allows for quick and accurate interpretation of events whereas all relevant information is combined in one single platform.
An exhibition for partnerships
At Security Essen, Nedap cooperated with its Technology Partners Axis and Canon. The AXIS partnership demonstrated how the AXIS A1001 Network Door Controller can be integrated in the AEOS platform. This is providing added value to the AXIS access control solution by offering unlimited additional AEOS functionality, from advanced anti-pass-back to visitor management.
On the Canon stand, Nedap demonstrated how AEOS allows for quick and accurate interpretation of events captured by in-camera analytics, such as left object detection and motion detection. Canon video analytics can be integrated in AEOS without using an additional video analytics server allowing for a cost-effective solution.
To be continued…
Stay tuned to find out what thought leaders in the security industry have said about the before mentioned security challenges…
