TDSi PalmGarde and DigiGarde

Product Profile

TDSi's extensive product range now includes PalmGarde, a palm vein reader, and DigiGarde, a finger print reader, providing clients with alternative systems to meet a wide range of application requirements.

One of the first physical access control products to incorporate Fujitsu's PalmSecure sensor, PalmGarde:

  • reads and processes the palm vein pattern - this lies beneath the epidermis and so can't be distorted by skin damage
  • delivers extraordinarily high standards of accuracy - a false rejection rate of 0.01% and a false acceptance rate less than 0.00008%
  • delivers true contact-free biometric technology - offering a hygienic, user-friendly solution for any public area
  • may be used in a single door application - operating as a fully independent, stand alone unit
  • may be connected to the majority of access control units

The company's range also includes DigiGarde.  A compact and versatile optical finger print reader, DigiGarde:

  • is capable of storing up to 9,000 user templates
  • features a high resolution (500dpi) optical scanner
  • is a user-friendly, ergonomically designed unit - fingers may be presented, and read, over a wide angle
  • allows enrolment either directly through the unit, or via a desktop scanner
  • features an industry standard Wiegand output - capable of being connected to the majority of access control systems

Both PalmGarde and DigiGarde are fully integrated with the company's advanced access management software, eXguard PRO, which also provides seamless integration with Panasonic's iris reader and the complete V range of fingerprint readers from Bioscrypt.
