Designed for a wide variety of applications from entry level access control to secure ID management. Its unique capabilities, such as reading any MIFARE® sector and/or DESFire® application data file, meet all installation requirements. SmartTOUCH™ not only verifies the vaildity of a MIFARE or DESFire card, it also verifies that the person who presents the card is its rightful owner. A scan of the fingerprint of the cardholder is stored on the secure part of the card. Only when there is a match between the finger scanned and the template stored on the card, the card data is transmitted. With the addition of PIN, the SmartTOUCH™ offers a triple level of security. |
