The Global Event for Payment, Identification and Mobility

For its 29^th edition, Cartes Secure Connexions, the global event for the digital security industry dedicated to secure solutions for payment, identification and mobility, is following current major trends.

Since its creation in 1985, the event has grown to become the world’s number one in the security and payment industry. For this year’s edition, 450 exhibitors and 20,000 visitors are expected from over 140 countries. This commitment underlines the vitality of the sector and the event’s capacity to respond to the complex challenges of the international community.

This year’s central theme, “Users on the move” is a response to the growing needs for security and mobility of the end users. A large number of services, systems and devices are contributing to a new way of life. The event illustrates this tendency with a key ingredient that is intrinsically linked to mobility: security as a source of trust.

The opening summit, which will launch the event, will bring together major industry leaders, who will discuss the latest trends and innovations, followed by 120 conferences gathering over 1600 participants throughout the event. Essential highlight of the event, the SESAMES AWARDS, the unchallenged hallmarks of excellence, will once again reward the industry’s best innovations in eleven categories. Moreover, the event will welcome the United Arab Emirates, a nation at the cutting edge of connectivity, as the country of honour and will be featuring the connected commerce area, a dedicated area of 200 m² allowing visitors to discover a new shopping experience by testing cutting-edge technologies.
